About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Towson University.

Previously, I was an RTG postdoc at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Szego Assistant Professor at Stanford University. I got my Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2022.

My research is in algebraic combinatorics, with connections to representation theory, algebraic geometry, and mathematical physics, particularly Schubert calculus and solvable lattice models.

Current and former students considering asking me for a recommendation letter, please see here.

I was a co-organizer for a 2024 JMM special session on solvable lattice models.

I was a co-organizer of the UIUC Summer School in Combinatorial Representation Theory
The previous year we ran a similar summer school: UIUC Summer School in Combinatorial Lie Theory.

I was a co-organizer of the UIUC Algebra-Geometry-Combinatorics seminar.

For the most up-to-date list of my papers and preprints, see here.

I support inclusivity in mathematics. Here is a letter the math department at the University of Minnesota sent to the Minnesota Attorney General opposing a proposed rule change that will make it more difficult for international students to study in the US, and here is a letter sent by the AMS and many other major science organizations in the US advocating that Congress allow international STEM PhDs to stay in the US after graduation (I played no part in writing the latter letter).
